What is a "maso"
It's a structure in which you can spend your holiday for a short or long period in a agricultural farm, living as a guest in a peasant's family or little agricultural companies. Territorial contest is fundamental. For the development of masi the best conditions are proximancy to rivers, lakes, mountain tops, walking woods, natural parks. Fairs or village festivals are basic as well. So it's really better if craftsman works exist, connected to the saving of ancient tools, and local historical sites or art centres. |

The "maso Praplan"
Location "Praplan" it's located near "S. Cristina" (in the "Gardena" valley), in a calm and sunny position with a splendid sight on the Dolomiteses, surrounded by lawns and woods, point of departure for a lot of excursions. Here you can breathe the air of 1760 meters above sea level. Praplan its located only 3 km from the center town (S. Cristina). |
